 AC Milan dealt Inter Milan their first defeat of the season, breaking the Nerazzurri's six-game derby winning streak with a 2-1 victory in Serie A.

Milan took an early lead through Christian Pulisic, but Inter responded with an equalizer from Federico Dimarco. 

In the second half, the Rossoneri created several opportunities, and it was defender Matteo Gabbia who secured the win with a header in the closing moments of the match.

As noted by football stats provider Opta in a tweet, Pulisic's goal marked the first time in a while that Milan scored early in the derby.
