India vs Bangladesh Live Score, 1st Test Day 4: India wins by 280 runs.

**India vs Bangladesh Live Score, Day 4 Test Match Update:**

India triumphed over Bangladesh by 280 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin, who had no wickets in the first innings, turned the match around with impressive figures of 6 for 88 in the second innings, supported by Ravindra Jadeja's 3 for 58, bringing his Test wicket tally to 299.

After struggling at 144 for 6 on Day 1, India made a stunning recovery, thanks to a 199-run partnership between Ashwin and Jadeja for the seventh wicket.

On Day 3, Jasprit Bumrah led the bowling attack as India bowled out Bangladesh for just 149 runs in less than two sessions. India chose not to enforce the follow-on, and Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant built a solid 167-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Pant scored a century off 124 balls, hitting 13 fours and four sixes, while Gill reached his fifth Test hundred, remaining unbeaten at the end.

On the morning of Day 4, Bangladesh’s skipper Najmul Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan fought hard against Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. However, Ashwin's introduction after the drinks break shifted the momentum, and he claimed his 37th five-wicket haul, with Jadeja wrapping up the innings quickly. Najmul Shanto was the top scorer for Bangladesh with a commendable 82 runs.

The second Test of the two-match series will take place in Kanpur starting September 27.
